 Flooding effects ducks?
I know that cold weather will push the ducks south, but I've been seeing alot of flooding in Iowa. Do you think these floods will keep the birds flying south and get here sooner? If the waters stay high from now till early winter, the ducks won't have food. This should get them south sooner. Even if the water subsides, I'm sure alot of cropland will be messed up. equating to no crops.

 Re: Flooding effects ducks?
Floodin up north will not push ducks south. It will keep dem der longer. It will open up more area for ducks to feed.

 Re: Flooding effects ducks?
Also have you guys heard about the the gov. grant for farmers in north La and Ms flooding their fields to keep ducks from coming down here to get into the oil? (probably already is a thread on here but I haven't seen it)
It seems like with all that open water it will be hard to hunt ducks up there and down here.
