Post Bow Season Will Be Here Soon
well fellas, along with teal season bout to happen, so is archery season. and guys, im pumped up ready to go. im itching to sling some carbon at some fur bearin animals. i shoot my bow year round just to stay in tuned but here lately i cant put the dam thing down  . its so bad i havent even got my shotgun out yet. and with it gettin closer, i was just wonderin what the real deer hunters on this forum shoot with. i have a PSE Stinger set at 72 lbs, shootin ICS Beamans with 85 gr Grim Reaper Razortips and it is dialed. what bout yall?

Pumped about bow season, stuck 4 last year and ready to stick some more very soon. i got a new bow this year, bowtech destroyer 350, shooting Flatliners with rage 2 blades, 342fps , love it. been practicing alot lately. my uncle hung a climber about 25 ft up and we've been shooting those glendales. Thats the best practicing IMO. i switched to a single pin adjustable sight and im glad i went this way. I get excited about duck birds, but nothing get me shakin like bowhunting.

Matthews switchback xt, carbon express, rage 2 blade, Hogg sights, and trophy taker full capture, drop down rest. I wish I had the funds to buy a new Matthews but bow prices are out of control. Now I just to split my time between bowhunting and teal without pissing the old lady off.

I am looking at a Bowtech SOldier 2010 model a guy is selling and if its sold by the time i get around to it ima look into some package deals with Donnie and Presicion. Been shooting with my neighbor across the street and they shoot mathews, some sweet looking bows and i picked corey's uncle's bow up and grouped three arrows in the size of a half dollar on the lungs, granted i haven't shot a bow since i was 16. Now i'm in the market. Melvin you should come down and sling some fletching with us sometime

I dont even gun hunt anymore. I have a PSE Rouge X that I doubt I'll use this year. I switched to a 50 year old recurve mid season last year. I didnt end up getting anything with it. I'll be using it till I do, and maybe even after. We got all the food plots in but it's been kinda dry over here.

I recant my previous statement. I do sometimes while bowhunting carry an AK47 with me. Sometimes we have sounders of 40 to 50 pigs come in to the feeders. If I know they are coming in I cant help but unload on em :D

shootin a Hoyt Razortech, Easton Flatline shaft and Rage 2 blade broadheads. you can have 100 greenheads cupped in your decoys but it's nothing like a deer walking out on ya, no matter if it's a fawn, doe or buck!

Be honest. How many of yall bought a bow just so you can shoot deer at night and not get caught.

seen some does in my turnip patch. things are looking really good for our opener on Oct 1 here in Indiana. We have acorns galore. Corn coming out super early. should make the woods come alive. Since I work night shift I have seen some nice bucks cruising around. I seen a whopper about a week ago nibbling grass in a yard of some dudes house. 170 class buck for sure. Yeah I'm ready to hear the two blade rage rattle some ribs myself.

Had a bow about 7 years ago. Gave up hunting for a while. Getting into waterfowl first and then we'll see. Looking at all these new bows on the market, I'm like holy shiat. They weren't that light or short back then. I shot a PSE with 26" Goldtip arrows. Weighed in at 180gs rigged with broadhead. Seriously trying to take it one step at a time. Maybe I'll get the bow fever in the next season.
