Anyone looking into or have used them? From what I have seen they get 1700 fps. Fasest that I know of out there. Should cut your lead down a good bit? |

They were just released this summer/fall. I'm gonna try some to see how they are. 1700fps is pretty fast. I think they will be too expensive though. Starting price is $20/box. ![]() |

DAM good commercial... Do you have to have a special choke for this stuff? Like you do with Black Cloud? |

Think iam cona stay with the black clouds. rather have a good sold pattern than just have them go fast. not knockin it before i try it. just what works 4 me. |

Most fed shells are dirty even the target loads, but there still a good company all around quality. I shot a exterma 2 with a pattern master made 4 the bc shells, now i shot a o/u browning with carlson bc chokes now. the carlsons seem 2 be a better tubes 4me. Dam auto loader kept fallin apart every year. went back 2 rem 870 and o/u brownings. |

We have used Winchester Xpert 1625 3.5" BB for geese for several years. Absolutely killer shell. I bought a box of the Hypersonic 3" BB 1 1/4oz loads to test. IMO it's a great load for 3" guns. The pellet count is close to the 3.5" shell. The velocity is higher and I think a Mod or a touch tighter will work best in most guns. I did try a steel full in my 3" 870 with 28" barrel and got a 95% pattern. It was very "clumpy" and did leave some holes. I'd rather see a larger circle with better pellet distribution. Esp. with BB size shot. Doesn't take many of those to kill a bird. Two days from right now I should have some field info on how it beats down resi. geese. |

I would NOT recommend shooting BB steel through anything tighter than a Steel Full. 1. There's a good chance you will bulge your choke or stretch the choke ruining the threads and the barrel. 2. Usually steel will reach a point of maximum constriction and bounce the pellets out causing a "blown pattern". |

I don't shoot BB. I usually stay #2 or #4. But what you mention is good info. Right now I have a rem mod in my 887. |

Seen a guy on YouTube pattern it and was impressed. Don't know what gun or even gauge, or what size shell or shot but..patterns from 20-60 yards was nice |

damaged choke/barrel. It was a factory modified choke,it bulged the choke and forked the barrel. I can put a new one in and at the end of season its has expanded and will not fit in another barrel. It still throws a good pattern. I used to just drop in a new carlsons when season would open. |
