cut you down a 3 or 4 foot pine sapling and stick it in the ground in front of you so ya have something to stand behind. ya dont need a layout blind for a teal hunting. they arent that smart |

i would but i mean, i got it so cheap and just wanna hang onto it just in case. The design is pretty simple, you could build one pretty easy. |

I got 2 of the Cabela's blinds that have the PVC bottom that goes about 8 inches up the sides. I can't remember the name of them. But they are the best product I have spent money on for hunting. Even better is I found one in the bargain cave. |

I've had two of the Final Approach ProGuide XL blinds for going on four seasons. Good quality construction, waterproof with the outer liner added, and plenty of room. Shell bag, thermos, and parka easily fit behind the head/back rest. Nice foam padded gun rest with plastic stops to keep your gun from sliding around. Not the easiest to assemble and break down, so I just leave them set up and haul them stacked across the boat. Only problem is that they are so comfortable that I have a tendency to doze off when things are a little slow. |

We use FA SUB's. I have 3 of them and the other guys I hunt with have another 4. One guy has a power hunter and hasn't used it since getting the SUB's 5 years ago. The SUB is much more comfortable. IMHO, any of the full layout blinds will be good, it's just a personal choice. |

I got 2 of these about a month ago. $100.00 to your door. They are exactly like a finisher(which I also have) but not quite as good as far as quality concerns. But for the price they are well worth it if you just take care of it!!! I have 4 layout blinds now. We hunt a lot of sand and mud flats and There aint nothing worse then settin up and your buddy doesnt have a blind and him trying to cover up with something aint workin so i got these for them to use. The few thing i did do to it was took the little snap buttons out of the headrest piece so i dont have to fumble with them (My finisher doesnt have them so that what made me think about it) and zip tied the screens open, and sprayed a lil shadowgrass stencil with khaki paint and mud the hell out of them. http://www.killzonehunting.com/waterfow ... blind.html |

Post subject: | Re: Layout Blinds? |
yeah as i said they are decent blinds too, not as good as my finisher but as long as you dont use it as a crutch when trying to get out and take moderate care of it then you should have no problems. they hav a video some where also. if its not on the website then it might be on you tube. they are a great deal for the money!!! |

I have a Final Approach blind that sucks donkey balls to set up. it is very comfortable, but I will be ordering a finisher very soon. tha hell with anything that's hard to set up when it's dark and freezing outside. |

I hunted out of a power hunter today and that thing fuking sucked ass. I would never buy one of those. Its like hunting out of a damn sleeping bag with a giant fencing mask that pulls over your face. no bueno The Rogers Goosebusters layout blind looks to be really nice and its only $150. Anything with doors like the finisher or the Rogers blind would be much better than the Power Hunter blind that velcros shut and is a pain in the ass to come up out of to shoot. |
