Anyone been to lake Bouef scouting? Wanted to go Sunday but went scouting with my brother for woodies south of Brusly St. Vincent. Found a few good spots and spooked up a few birds.

Just needing a idea of if it's worth going out there. I have never hunted teal, so I'm not sure what to look for as far as feeding areas and such. Just looking to spend opening day out in the blind and see a few.

i saw several flocks flyin the miss river south this weekend. This time of year they like big holes (at least 5 acres) that are less than a foot deep imho.

I'm still not sure you guys understand that the stuff you type on here pops up in a simple yahoo or google search... You're just inviting every assclown that's too lazy to scout to come and join you.

if you get close enough to another blind they will even call in the teal for you! no need to put out decoys!

You boys are too much...

There is way to many out there who think that is the way you hunt. And even worse people who take there kids out hunting and teach them thats the way its done. And just fyi, those are the type of people who scout on the www, so why help them out?

It's posts like this that make me glad I can hunt where I hunt, and not in the waterfowl walmart like a lot of other poor folks.

you shouldn't even consider lake beouf if you dont wanna ride in somebodys wake!
the place gets pretty crowded.
