Sturgeon Don't know if it is legal to keep them or not. Most of the ones I have seen are from the northwest, Washington Idaho area I don't know that I have ever heard anyone say whether you can eat the fish or not. The eggs are sold for caviar for some species |

Caught a couple of those and a few paddlefish on the Red around Coushatta back in college.. Funky lookin fish for sure. Never caught a big sturgeon though.. |

they have been said to have been caught in out lake marion. There is a notice up at landings saying if you catch one, call dnr and keep it alive till they can get there and tag, measure it. If you are caught with one, its like a 7000 dollar fine+jail |
