last night i finished the bowfishing deck, i figured since im using a generator that can power a house why not use enough lights to light up a neighborhood. so after adding my rail, 6 more lights and painting it up its finished. 4500 watts of lights should be enough to shoot an aquatic animal or two. ![]() im going to make a new one within the next month out of aluminum and ill see how it comes out, hopefully as good and sturdy as this one. |

What does that thing weigh??? How much ballast you gonna have to add to the rear of the boat to keep it down??? ![]() All kidding aside that looks good, hope there are not any houses near where you plan on fishing because they will be calling the law thinking a UFO has landed on the lake/bayou ![]() ![]() |

Looking good jl. I do have a couple words of caution. You'll have to be careful of dead grass, don't want to start any fires out there, and, be on the look out for hellicopters, I once had to wave one off one night, I guess he thought we were a helliport or something, I can see the same thing happening to you. All that foolishness aside, how did yall do in Grand Isle? |

Why do a lot of the decks that I see have such high rails? It seems that the tall rails would get in the way of shooting. I would want to stop it at the bars that the top lights are hanging from. I'm thinking about getting one built and I've been curious about the different styles. |

Heres a picture of mine the rails are a little over knee high I don't wanna fall in the water cold or hot that would suck. Jl the deck looks good never shot off of one high like that but I here you can see a lot better. Keep up the good work and built you one out of alum I can pick mine up by myself, really cuts down on the weight. |

Blaze, did you get your built around N.O. or did you build it yourself? I like the way yours looks and how the lights are mounted a little higher. |

Has anyone ever mounted a 400 watt HPS? I was thinking of replacing my front halogens with 1 400w but I'm not sure how to mount one that big and heavy. |
