Shot this out of a flock of teal that were passing high and fast,picked out one bird and shot and this is what fell. I was almost ready to go home after I saw it but instead I stayed in the rain and killed some more

Yea Rod what happened was I asked to the kid to see it and when he gave it to me I ran like a nugga with a flat screen. BM that is an xtrema. Ronnie I got me a hollywood red biotch. |

I've never killed a cinnamon or a full colored bluewing here, we just don't get 'em much. We mainly get the greenwings. |

definiteyly a unique looking bird and a rare sight at that... i met a older guy at the ramp last year that shot one. he was letting us look at his birds cuz he had a real pretty sprig and wegion drake. i just so happen to move one of his others birds on his strap and seen it in the bottom of his boat. i asked the gentleman if he knew what he had here as i held it up. he kinda looked at me strange and said, "yea thats a blue wing, youve never seen one?" i kinda chuckeled and politely told him that it was a cinnamon. poor guy had been hunting all his days and never seen one and just assumed it was a BWT with a red tint to it. after he realized what it was he said he was gonna get it mounted. cool lookin birds for sure. congrats |

Brooks lets just say they reside way out west of you. I think they are more common from west Tx to the California coast. I could be wrong and if so I'm sure someone will enlighten us. |
