Yeah ~ Thay alot of fun and easy. It'll ride in the back of yore pick-up, boat just 'bout anywhere .... git to where you goin' .... build a ground fire .... start yore cookin' !!!
I like yore concept UncleJs !!! I'll generally just find a rock or log layin' 'round and set it up on that and regulate the heat that way.
Just do like Coastals typed is all thay is too it ..... Most fellers 'round here will take cold-roll and put 'bout a 8 inch circle on the bottom which will allow fo it to fit mo-better on a fish cooker and sit level.
