I'll be hunting alone next 5 days. If you don't see new posts from me you should worry. Had friend of mine ramp a stump in he early morning darkness and sink his boat...911 and all that ensued. He's alright but had he not worn life jacket he said he'd be dead. Slow down my friends. If you go in with these temps you're in big trouble even with a life jacket. |

I busted 2 1/2'' ice 2 weeks ago for a couple miles by myself in the wee dark hours of the morning, not a good feeling. I ended up with a dented up hull after that, I kept stopping to make sure that I was in shallow enough water so I could stand up in case I cut my hull. This is serious sht we do for fun. Ya'll be safe. |

i will be out there for the next 7 days... everybody wear their life jacket when its cold... I was thrown out of friends prodrive and it sunk back in January of 2006... it was cold as fawk! |

I can't wait for the weekend cleaned all the snow out the boat. insulated my throttle cable and sprayed it with lithium. late season is way better than teal season you can only take so much off before you get indecent exposure. Wish I could hunt the week-days |

We got the swamp ninja day monday so i got mom to let me off on friday for a four day weekend, this morning was just a quick hunt. |

Boat hitched up; 35 minutes to the landing; 30 minutes to my spot; water drained; propane heater in boat; trying to get out again in am...windchill 14 in am. |
