Went out this morning with a buddy of mine and had a flock of 7 teal come in early in the morning. So I tell my buddy to hang tight until they get real low before opening up on them and right before they hit the water, they all literally turned into a ball. I took aim at the center of the flock and my buddy at the first one and we pulled the trigger at the same time, all 7 dropped dead as can be. I was actually shocked because I thought I had shot at some commando teal that were trained to duck for cover and swim away so I immediately got up on the boat to see if I needed to stop any and they were all dead.

After the shot my buddy and I just looked at each other because we couldn't believe what happened and it was a sight to see. To see 7 teal drop out of the sky like that is amazing to say the least and I walked out to them to make sure we got them and they were all there within 4 feet of each other.

Last week I got my first double (two birds one shot) when I took my kids hunting for the first time and today we drop 7. I told my buddy we had to becareful after that because with another shot like that, we'd go over the limit.

I wanna call bullsht - but - I don't know If I can. Serious?

Buddy of mine shot 6 on the water with one shot. Kinda hard to believe but it could be possible!

I've never even gotten a double (not flying anyway). The only mass killing I've ever done like that is on a tight ball of coots.

No it was me and a buddy and we fired one shot each. Man, I wish I would've video tapped it because I if wasn't there to witness it, I would've never imagined something like that was possible. I still can't believe it!

DMD, if I was BS'ing (which I'm not) I would've said something believeable like 3 but 7 is just way beyond my BS'ing abilities.

What's even better is that after we pulled that one off, we missed almost everything after that. Still walked away with 10 though so it wasn't that bad considering this was one of my quick morning hunts right before work.

Not trying to steal your thunder but my grandfather used to shoot high brass 7 1/2's because this was before steel shot and his best 2 shot volley from his old Winchester side by side was 31 teal. Incase the gw's are watching he is dead.

Best double was pulled by my father in law to teach my brother in law a lesson on shooting. He shot two birds flying in opposite directions with one shot. Doubles and multiple kills are all about the timing of your shots and letting birds get right if they will.

Either way congrats it's fun to knock the piss out of them like that

If ya'll are so inclined, there is a guy from up north on youtube that guides for Geese at your Feet outfitters, his username is something like Stewpeezy, check him out. He has a barrelcam on his gun, and is a very good shot, he has right down the barrel shots of doubles, super long shots, super close shots, other crazy stuff. Definitely worth checking out.

Couple years ago was in fl. deer hunting , in my buddies pond had 22 bw teal come in it by all means we had to go shoot them!! 6 shot and got them all

Killed a Buck and a Doe with one shot one time, shot the buck, hit a bone came out other side and hit the doe in the head right behind the ear. She was like 10 feet away from the buck to. I have seen the teal killed like that had a buddy shoot his and my limit in three shots.

Its a sight to see them birds pill up we had 500 plus teal hit the pond next to us in one volly the other day, dam that was loud.

An old guy I used to go deer hunting with always killed the biggest deer out of all of us and he always said that it's better to be lucky than good and that's what that was today. There's no way in the world I could do that on purpose or even plan for it. PURE LUCK IS THE ONLY WAY TO EXPLAIN IT!

Best shooting i have ever done was me and my cousin had 8 teal come in and we killed all of them, thats the best ive done but nevertheless it deserved a victory dance.

I second that one, I saw a ol boy i grew up with drop a deer running in front of dogs at 200+ yards wit just one pellet some how,most lucky shot i ever seen.

I got a double mallard last week drake and hen there in the freezer be on my wall next yr. 7 is hard to believe. would depend on yardage shot and choke I'm just guessing though!

i think its easily possible! my brother and a buddy killed 42 geese sittin on a field in 3 shots.

Its all in how the birds line up. with teal i know it could be done. I have dropped 5 teal out the sky in one shot " Had 2 do some clean up shots on the wounded " but i was amazed that i dropped 5 with one shot. They were low over the water head high and stacked deep. Timeing was luck.

I've dropped 3 buffleheads with 1 shot before. awesome fun!

Sometimes, I shoot 7 shoots, and 1 coot falls..

I guess that is not as cool....

Everything lined up perfect for that shot to happen. I'm using a Kicks High Flyer choke on Mod and the birds were at about 30 yards which is far enough to allow that pattern to open up. If they would've been closer, this would've never happened because I throw a relatively tight pattern with my choke which is why I miss a lot of the close shots but nail almost every bird further out.

Since we all like to put out a brag from time to time ....


So many years ago ..... my son and I was a huntin' them DuckByrds and never fired a shot that mornin' ...... started pickin' up the spread and we turned the dawg loose to run 'round .... got in the boat and called in the dawg and she had gots her one dead DuckByrd and brought it to us !!!

Ever since that mornin' happened ...... I cain't stands to git skunked !!!!

I kill two woodies with one shot on a pretty regular basis, when they get nervous they wad up on the water...

try some 3 1/2 #6's with ic choke...its can be nasty

Me and Team Camo was hunting one morning, it was a spot that we had to resort to cause me GDLT 23 blew a head gasket. We ended up doing good that morning with seom gadwal and a few teal. Kicker is we are out in the decoys picking up getting ready to leave and my dog just bails on me. I called and called and called and she was just on a mission. So i go after her and she just kept going i'm talking like 500yrds away or so, i could barely see her running through the water, by the time i made it to the levee to where i can stand on top and try to see her she was on her way back. And ill be damned if she didn't have a gadwall in her mouth and it was just a quackin, couldn't believe it and yeah that was the talk for the week. Thought it was a pretty cool experience. She was a good dog freaking trooper. Just wish the one i have now would pick up where she left off, but you can't expect to much right?

i cought a hen gadwall bare handed that swam into my boathide one morning, and damn if she didnt have a band.
