On December 31st I took my boys on their first duck hunt with me and felt like if I was under a lot of pressure to deliver at least one duck. Being that it was an afternoon hunt, I knew that I had to make every shot count and the last thing I wanted was for them to see me miss the first time out and not bring anything home. So normally I don't get too happy if I shoot a duck unless it's a rare one but with my kids on the boat, it was a different story. I got lucky and had these two ducks come in to check out my decoy spread so I stand up, take the shot, and drop both of them. Best of all, my wife filmed the whole thing so it's more than just a memory for me. If you guys look at the lower right hand corner when the video starts, you'll see them fall.

I know a double like that is no big deal but knowing that it was the first time I pull something like that off and if front of my kids on their first hunt, was just incredible. Please excuse the Spanish at the beginning of the video, all I said was that "I just shot two ducks with one shot". I couldn't have ended 2010 any better than with what I did with my family that afternoon.

Your kids will never forget the day you hook them hunting and shot two in one shot. You now have a tough image to live up to in their eyes. Their stories of that day will elevate you to superhuman status. Well done the good father you are.

I remember taking my son opening weekend coot hunting. 1st day I saw him drop 2 at once. I told him it'll never happen again. WRONG! The next day he did it again. It was funny the whole time.

Thanks bull, J_Ho the camera I used is a Samsung camcorder that records on an SD card in 1080p but the video above is in 720p.
