Got stuck on log and shallow water getting here and back:

I was acting like a young buck pushing and pulling, lifting and hauling. I need a grab bar. When you get my age one should avoid such strenuous activity especially when alone but I plowed ahead in search of the duck. When i was done i felt like I had worked out at the gym. Man, that's good exercise.

Why do you give your spots away like that???? With the age of smartphones, my phone and boat could easily get back there and hunt your set. I just don't understand. :|

Be my guest. Not a duck in sight! Most would have abandoned the trek long before getting there. I killed my first dear there 47 years ago.

Here is pic of one of my tight spots on a day that I did care how the dekes looked (although not same spot as DG). Indian bayou is full of places like this.
