Going to try them out tonight on the river. 4x150 watt HPS from GVlighting running off a champion 1200 watt generator. His lights are pretty nice and a good price. Stout housings on them. |

cool, i run the hps light and metal halide. the hps seems to penetrate better when the water is cloudy. i learned a lesson though. keep a halogen ready to cut on if your lights go out. they take a few minutes to heat back up. i was bowfishing in a duck impoundment on santee and a damn gator thought he would come up and check out the boat. i bout sh!t a brick when the lights camee on and old boy was lookin over the transom! ![]() |

you will like those lights. I know on other forums they rave about them and the price is not bad either. When I get a new hull I am going to use the short 400w HPS from them. I know a guy with 150's on his boat and it does a good job lighting up the water. HPS is the way to go in murky water for sure. |

Everything is in the housing......Many are multitap lights so just wire them up to what voltage you running and your set...no outside caps or ballast required |

Tried them out last friday. River was very murky. Couldn't see bottom with a 3 million CP spotlight in 2 feet of water. Fired up the big boys and we were seeing bottom and shooting fish in 4-5 feet. Very happy with these lights! |
