has anyone pulled a shrimp trawl behind a mudmotor. i am thinking about trying to pull one and just wondering if anyone had any experience with it. what size trawl do you think a 35hp motor could pull without haveing any problems?

thought about it myself a time or two. i would go with a 16ft, its big enough to catch alot but no too big that the motor won't pull it. just remember you need torque to pull it not speed.

16' would be max, but you could get into all the lil canals and back bays, if they runnin right, you should mop up

I think 16' would work good. Thinking about doing this myself in the marsh.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to run a worn out prop.

It'll let you motor turn up a little giving you a little more torque IMO.

With that small of a trawl it's a good idea to have a bib on top.

Catch a few big ones that ussually you don't catch in a small trawl.
