Ive done a pretty good bit of reading on here both looking at light setups, and talking to people to get ideas. Im going with the 27watt l.e.d. flood lights around the boat, and im trying to see how yal would suggest mounting them, should I mount them to the deck, or should I get them up in the air some to shine back down. The bow of the boat is really close to the water when two people are on it. What would be best for floundering, because Im not really into bowfishing very much. |

24 inch sides 10" up from deck !! If your boat sides or low put them higher no less than 18 " of the water higher they are better angle pointing down! |

If my bow is about 8 inches off the water when two people are on it you think a three foot rail would be alright, or is 18" off the water is the majic number? |

I think around 2' is about right !! For gigging I think you just want a good bright radius close to the boat right!! I'm no expert just trying to go off of my boat but I don't know if it's 100% right!! |

Are you liking the 27 watt lights or would you go with the 50watts if you had to do it again. |

Did you order yours through cutomfitz? If so how long did they take to come in? |

I have my deck flush with the gunnels of my go devil boat. I didn't mount my lights to a rail and they light up next to the boat just fine. They shine out further than I can shoot, so that's fine for me. I imagine they are about 18 inches off the water with two guys on the platform. I have 12 of the 27 watt lights running off two batteries. The math works out to 10 hours of run time, I've only had them out for 6 hours at a time though. I ordered my lights through customfitz and it took 15 days from pushing order to the box on my door. Sent using my bag phone |
