Remington 1100 Semi Auto.. Sweet Gun.. I owned one since I was 7yrs old.. Now my 10yr old Daughter shoots it.. This is what I found. You have to purchase a regular Remington 12 gauge 1100. Then purchase the following: Ram-Line Youth Remington 1100 12 Gauge Two Piece Stock Set Black - 11018 Made for Youth or Smaller shooters. Shorter than factory buttstocks by 1.5 in, lightweight. Tough, scratch resistant aerospace glass-filled fiber polymer.. These stocks are covered with a lifetime guarantee against breakage. Shotgun and 2 piece rifle stock set are made from glass-filled Nylon 66. Premium Rubber pad installed. Available in black only. Shotgun available in 12 ga Only.. $49.99 |

I have a 1100 and was thinking I may go that route. Was thinking that one of the B guns made a light weight 12ga youth. Couldn't find anything though. May check into cutting the barrel down some and add chokes since its a 2 3/4" shell, 28" fixed choke barrel. Really wanting it to be a 3" too. |

I know you typed semi ...... but when I had youth ... we used the 870 Rem Turkey Speical. Pulled the kick-pad off and put a neopreme sock over the whole in the butt, screwed in a modified choke and shot 'bout 150 cases of 12 guage 3" steel loads out of it !!!  That was the closes't thang we could find fo a youth DuckBird Gun .... even comes in the camo pattern.
