So I am traveling to Florida in January 2014 and wanted to know if anyone is interested in meeting up for a hunt or a boat ride.
Coming down with a friend of mine and hunting is the main focus for the trip. I'd like to meet some of you guys down there...go for a ride, shoot the shit, shoot a duck or two...if you're willing to take us

First trip to Florida - what should I do down there? Other than hunt...

Where in Florida?

We'll be heading to C and S Fl mostly. Melbourne, Clewiston and Miami. Plan to hit the STAs on weekends and then do some "real" hunting in the Glades, Lake O and St Johns on weekdays. Maybe I'll manage to squeeze in some fishing and a tour of South Beach for the boy.

And Brandon forgot that there's two missions on the trip. Hunting AND food. Man how I am looking forward to some good southern cooking, BBQ and cuban food!

Miami or Meeahmee is not located in Florida dat is North Cuba, all bsing aside ive never hunted any of those places except the big lake,lotta ringers when i was there. You come a lil closer to me HMU.

Not might be many now. Just whistling ducks, mottleds and a few mutt greenheads. Oh, don't think I forgot the muscovies. Mmmm.... muscovy!

But come winter, there's few places I'd rather be than back in the old stomping grounds. I want Brandon to experience what FL has to offer. He's heard all of my tall tales long enough. We'll be going after dive bombing ringers, zippy teal, slow arse whistling ducks and well-plumed trophies.

Meejami (you totally spelled it wrong :p ) is just one of the places where we intend to rest our heads. Sleeping in the truck might be ok on the weekends at the STAs, but I think a real bed will be nice for a few days.

And I can't wait to claim my first ducks on my newly purchased lifetime FL hunting license!!!
