The morning started off beautiful, but quickly changed. Not a single bird for 4 hours, then it was like a light switch. We were able to drop 7. |

Your cold weather adds a whole new dimension to waterfowl hunting I'd rather not have to deal with. I prefer mosquitoes. |

I gauge on how cold it is to the size of the ice ring around the decoys. 4 foot diameter= too cold to be out there but you will probably get some birds. Your ice eater doing nothing= stay at home |

It looks like you can see really good in the dark with that light set up. One thing about the cold is it keeps all the D.D. Guys at home! Lol |

Well it was cold enough for this coonass from Houma, La. I've seen enough snow on the east coast since I joined the Army. |
