Got a few questions for the boys way down south. I'm doing the dumbest thing I could think of and that's Getn married. For that being said, I got a small group 5-6 of us wanting to
Come down there and kick it with some Cajuns for my bachelor party. We gonna be pulln 2 boats down there to fish from and was wondering if anyone could help out a bit. Looking for a cabin or sumthn on the water and hoping to shoot a few eatn fish. Gonna try to make this happen in May, any help from the coonasses on an area and recommendations on a place to stay? Thanks, from a redneck in east Texas! :D

Most like south of Orleans. We are keeping our options open since this gonna be the first time down there. We don't know the area or where to fish. Just a dog needing a little bone thrown our way.

I would put your money together and go on a trip with Terry (Deltaduckmaster) , he owns Scales and Tails Bowfishing you can get his info on this site.

Lafite is a good place to go if you dont want to try a guide and just wanna do it alone

We are the type to try it ourselves. Maybe do some day/night fishing. Here in Texas all we get to shoot to eat is far and tilapia. Plus I don't think a guide would want to out up with us for 3 days!

You don't need a guide down here at that time of yr.

Delacroix, hopedale or shell beach would be my recommendation. Their all close to one another. And camps are everywhere to rent

I'd go to Grand Isle or somewhere close like Fourchon or Leeville. You can easily rent a camp on the water and there's things to do other than fish.
