Finally got the deck together. Bought 10-50watt 120v hps seelite's and a honda EU2000i to push them. Next step a little paint and mount the lights. Any suggestions on kinds of paint. What's the most durable camo paint for aluminum these days.??

I think I speak for everyone when I say, more pics, some video and a review of the Sport H, please!!!

To answer your question though, duralux makes a paint called "aluminum boat paint, in camo colors. I've always heard it does as well as any paint can be expected to do on aluminum...

I can't wait til the day crowd sees this. It's going to be epic.

I'd just leave it bare aluminum.

I think it just looks slick like that. The deck I had, I didn't paint it. But that's just personal preference.

Hydroturf or even some of that DIY truck bed liner where you stand because you're going to have fish slime and shit in the boat walking around and rattle can the rest.

I would turf it and leave it bare, not like the fish will see it. Nice rig, guessing that's a stock H

Good looking deck looks like you could park a truck on it. Rattle can flat black Turf the top and call it good. I like it bare thou.

Lil cajun,

You were the first "real" person to get a Sport V and now a Sport H (yes there were prototypes and Freddie King's out there). Do you know someone at MB?? Are you a pro-staffer??

Also, what happened with your V?

Hey Matt, I've got some excel stencils here that you are welcome to use if you want to camo paint the deck to match your boat.

I also have some touch up cans of paint that you could get the info off of to get the exact colors.

The way the deck sticks out way in front of your boat be careful. Put a lot of weight on that front you could take on some water. My small rig had that problem you had to be carful

Damn nice rig Lil Cajun. Glad to hear the H is performing up to your expectations. 70 hours isn't a ton of hours but no problems after those hours is fantastic imo. Have you been running it like you stole it or have you been takin it easy?

Been flirting with getting another motor myself. I still love the looks and features of the H but have been considering a GTR. More reviews as time goes on would be awesome if you could.

The thing about it is that if the bow does dip water...unless the driver is able to see under the deck...the ones on the deck wont know to step back...and u better hope the water aint too deep when this happens. But the bow will most likely take a dive after entering deeper water.

The decks are nice for shooting calm winter DAYS on a low tide!
looks good ...good luck.

Finally got it all together. Laid the deck with hydro-turf came out good. Made the first trip not too bad considering the weather we've been having.

The turf looks good. I've gotta cover my decks before the summer really kicks off. I know my dog would appreciate it!
