Post Rain Gear
So after GT tourny looking for another set of rain gear. I bought some "breathable" rain gear from cables which means if it more than drizzle u are wet underneath
I'd like to get something pretty lightweight and no a sauna to wear while fishing. I hate frog toads so that out question
What do y'all find works best?

Looking at Grunden gage storm surge. I know Grundens makes nice gear for commerical fisherman but don't know how well the light gear holds up

I saw some guys wearing that before but didn't know what the HH logo was. Looks like some good stuff.

Yep. Though at around 1" a hour sustained rain I think it's good for about 4 hours. Basically it stays dry about 3 times longer than goretex.

The carhartt breathable gear is near as I can tell the same stuff as grundens light weight stuff. The gage is just a little lighter(cooler) to wear.
I wish I could stay outa that kind of rain but thats more normal here than sunshine........

Helly Hansen Impertech and Impertech II.

I've used this rain gear from Alaska to Mississippi for fishing and hunting. Works very well and still keeps you dry after a week of continuous rain. I highly recommend it.
