So after GT tourny looking for another set of rain gear. I bought some "breathable" rain gear from cables which means if it more than drizzle u are wet underneath I'd like to get something pretty lightweight and no a sauna to wear while fishing. I hate frog toads so that out question What do y'all find works best? |

Looking at Grunden gage storm surge. I know Grundens makes nice gear for commerical fisherman but don't know how well the light gear holds up |

Yep. Though at around 1" a hour sustained rain I think it's good for about 4 hours. Basically it stays dry about 3 times longer than goretex. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The carhartt breathable gear is near as I can tell the same stuff as grundens light weight stuff. The gage is just a little lighter(cooler) to wear. I wish I could stay outa that kind of rain but thats more normal here than sunshine........ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Helly Hansen Impertech and Impertech II. I've used this rain gear from Alaska to Mississippi for fishing and hunting. Works very well and still keeps you dry after a week of continuous rain. I highly recommend it. |
