Shouldered, held, and swung both guns. Man they feel great and I line up both better than any other gun I've ever held. Can't make up my friggin mind so I'm bringing it here. What you guys think.

I'm shooting the benelli this week. No chance to shoot the A5. I had a gas gun and I'm not crazy about how ticky they are when dirty

Can't go wrong with either. Just comes down to personal preference

To me it's like wearing that ball cap you been wearing for many years. Just can't put it down or get tired of it. Every time I shoot it I wanna shoot more. I have shot gas guns all my life and still shoot a few but the sbe2 is my go to gun for hunting. I clean mine right before season and not again until the next year. I have never had any issues with mine. The inertia drive is the cats ass imo.
I'm 6'1 220 and it fits me perfect. The gun is simple to clean, it's light to carry in the field, and functions like a champ.

I'm not a very tall guy at 5'11 but it seems the sbe2 fit me a lot better than other autos

I love my SBE2!!! I'm only about 5'8", 175 dripping wet, and I feel like it fits me great also. I like the Browning, but the Benelli feels slimmer in my hands, which I like. I ran probably two or three cases of 3.5's through mine last season without a single issue and minimal recoil. The Browning is an awesome gun too, but I'm very happy with my choice!

SBEII is a great gun no doubt.

I shoot an A5 and am very happy with it.

Benelli....... I've got a 1999 sbe 1 and have NEVER had any problems with it. I can tell you it doesn't get any preferential treatment either.

I have beat the shit out of that weapon, had it completely covered with ice from spray from the boat at 4:00 am with temps below zero, dropped it countless times in the water and muck from Mississippi delta and cypress brakes to Canada clay fields to North Dakota dirt fields and sloughs. All I did was pour hot coffee to melt the ice and slosh it around in the water to get the muck off the outside and she fires EVERY TIME. The only Browning i've had that didn't give me problems was a BPS. All the others are now someone else's headache...............

My wife shoots a Franchi 720 Diamond and that is a dern nice gun.

I'd not go for the Browning personally. I've been very pleased with my M2.

If your shooting 3.5 shells the sb2 has recall system. The browning doesn't !! Your shoulder will thank you if you get a sb2

My dad has a sbe and a m2 and loves them both. Never had a problem. The sbe is about 10 yrs old.

I have a sbe II and love it. But I wish it had a shorter barrel. Dad got the m2 with a 22" barrel and ruined me!
