Hope all of you have a safe and successful opening weekend. There should be lots of Mallards. Please remember these safety tips: 1. wear your lanyard 2. wear your life vest 3. please do not sky bust 4. Do not load your gun until shooting time, not even one in the magazine. 5. Only shoot within your safe zone and never swing over the fellow next to you. 6. If a novice is hunting with you, spend extra time reinforcing safety rules. Good hunting! |

Be sure to get your duck tags. Supplies are running low. Also make sure you have enough Dept of the Interior Waterfowl Survey envelopes so you can mail in wings. |

Good luck to all tomorrow. Im itching that I cant be out there this weekend but such is the nature of saving umpa lumpas in the chocolate city. Everyone be safe and leave a few for me. |

Proper tag placement is around the bill with species be gender clearly marked. If ur caught mis tagging you will be fined. I'm sure glad I got my tags in early This year. Sent from my bag phone. |

I'd risk it. Just play dumb when your asked about it. Not worth missing opening day. But it's a state tag for each duck killed. |

I've also read that if you can't get your tags in time that you can just write the time that you killed it with a sharpy on the top of the bill. |

Kind of what I thought. It's almost like sitting there with a loaded gun before shooting time is dangerous but having a loaded gun the entire rest of the hunt is safe. Democratic way of thinking. He feels he has to do this because you know the stupid hunter cannot think for himself. |
