| Post subject: | Texas Turkey Hunting |
I'm trying very hard to find a place or guide to go turkey hunting in Texas. My goal is to take my 8 year old son to get his first bird as he can't hunt here in Wisconsin for another 2 years. I would hope for an opportunity at a bird as well. If anyone has any recommendations for a guide/outfitter in Texas I would really appreciate it if you could pass it along. dont know when u plan on coming to TX but you would be guaranteed a turkey if you went to south texas area..central texas has plenty but a little harder to get on. |

Thanks for the input. I'm looking at late March early April of 2015. I know I should have been looking sooner but I just had my best duck season ever and couldn't take a break from that. |
