Is there any way to run down Grand Pass and then cut over to Pass a loutre so that you dont have to run down the main channel of the MS the whole way? jst thinking of ways to stay out of the main river, if at all possible. |

Sure could have used it yesterday if there is! North wind was howling, big ships were running! Most liberals seem to suffer from the same mental condition....it's called stupidity! |

You can run from Venice and cut back in just below head of passes on SW pass, but it can be just as nasty if not worse than the river running across the bay |

good info there. thanks guys. just trying to think of different options depending on the circumstances. I'll probably just hope over to the east side of the river and head down like normal |

U cannot avoid the river to get where u want to go, there are short cut here and there but u will always have to cross the river. |

Take a bay boat and pull the mud boat behind you? I feel like it's a lot safer It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |
