PS Don't try calling for a reward. There is a tracker battery thing I found in his gut also, so they know. |

Did the tracker have a number on it? I have caught flathead catfish with tags. I have caught several hundred paddlefish with tags. My buddy caught a paddlefish with a tracker and it had a couple hundred dollar reward. Cool catch. |

Only fish I ever caught that was tagged was a 10ft hammerhead. No reward either It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

A lot of taged redfish are probably CCA fish that were never cought. CCA puts on a deal where if you catch a taged redfish within their set time frame you get entered in a drawing for a free boat or something like that |

They have a raging program in Louisiana and anybody can apply for the tags and they put their personal number. A lot of people do it so it's not very un common |

Never heard of anyone putting their personal number on a fish tag. Its usually the number of the tagging program so they can track the fish. |

I have never seen them tagged on the bottom either. I have tagged a few hundred of them. |
