Going to camp on Perdido Bay July 7th - 1- in Lillian, AL Anyone familiar with the area? We are staying at the KOA campground. Trying to decide if it's worth bringing my boat on the haul from Texas to do some fishing. Any suggestions of things to do in the area? We're going to make a beach trip one day. |

I've got a friend who lives in Pensacola. It wouldn't be worth pulling the boat, IMO. You can only catch 2 redfish and 5 specs. But, it is pretty cool sight fishing for reds. |

Well dad gum. The camp ground has a pretty cool pier that I'll take the kids on to fish. Maybe they'll get to catch something. We had a cabin rented, but I bought a camper this week so I'll be pulling that now - eliminating the question of taking the boat. |

if you've got a kayak ( SOT one ) it will serve you well . Put you in the fish , if not , rent one ! Good luck , and have a great time with the family |
