 Last fish of the season
Normally bout this time of year I'm scrambling to get last minute shit done before duck season and catching a few fish is the last thing on my mind. Well this past week the wife talked me into heading to her parents sub division lake to get some bream and bass for the freezer. We got a basket of pan fish so I decided to start running a crankbait to try and pick up some extra bass. Well much to my surprise there's more than just bass n bream in that lake...
Measured out at 28 inches but I didn't have a scale to weigh it. Its by far the biggest walleye I've ever caught by about a foot so needless to say that dude will be hanging on the wall here before too long. Needless to say I was glad I decided to go fishing!

Re: Last fish of the season
They can be few and far between around here. Several lakes and rivers have them but not like up in the Northwoods. Unless I take a trip to Canada or Lake eerie or something I'll probably never see another 28" eye
