Was sittin in my stand yesterday morning expecting to see/shoot one of my little rinky dinky 5 or 6 points that are regulars to the feeder whenever this dude poked his head out. Damn near shit my pants...Took about .2 seconds to decide it was time for him to get smoked. Don't think an opportunity like this will ever present itself to me again on a free range hunt. Scored out to be 169" with 15 scoreable points. Its hard to see in the pics but hes got 4 brow tines and some kickers at the bases. IMG_0310.JPGIMG_0320.JPG |

Thanks guys, i cant get the over him. I haven't deer hunted in 5+ years and finally got a little 23acre piece of property to hunt this year and its all been worth it. I just dropped him off at the taxi. He B&C scored him for me at 168 and some change. Gonna do a half sneak I think on a drift wood stump. Kinda like a pedastal mount but not stupid expensive lol |

This is the other one i got on camera. Hes not nearly as big but hes still a stud, i think he'll go high 130's maybe. Ill be looking for him next. The only delima im having is I would love to keep a good deer like that around for breeding and getting good genetics out but anyone who's ever hunted east Tx low fence knows if you dont shoot him theres a almost 99% chance someone else will cap him.
