 Bow recommendation Looking for suggestions for an entry level bow for myself. Not interested in a 800$ setup at the moment, just a good solid bow. That way if this doesn't pan out I won't be out a ton of money. Both my girls are interested in learning to shoot a bow so I thought I might make this a family thing. I used to shoot a pse with my buddies in high school but that was long ago. Thx

Re: Bow recommendation Do yerself a favor and check out Hunter's Friend archery. There is not a more informative, honest or easy bunch of folks to deal with in this country! When you buy from 'em you can literally take it out of the case and walk in to your stand confidant that it'll hit where it should. There's not a better value around

Re: Bow recommendation get a good 5-10yr old used bow from craigslist for yourself and some low poundage used bows on CL for your girls. I doubt 1 bow will work for everyone. Can always sell a used bow at a similar cost if it doesn't pan out.

Re: Bow recommendation Don't be afraid of pawn shops either, I bought a Matthews a few years back that had only slung a handful of arrows and was put away and never touched. I restrung and adjusted some things on it, and it's now hanging in my closet too!

Re: Bow recommendation Go look at a Diamond Edge SB-1. Is made by bowtech and is still priced around $400. Has a heck of a draw range to, goes from 7-70# and 20-30" I believe.

Re: Bow recommendation check out some of the bear bows. i used to shoot a hoyt but switched to bear because i can't justify $1000 bows for the 5 hunts i make a year
