Post subject:  Info on South Louisiana where to fish and rentals on camps?

I have never been fishing for red's or spec's before and am planning to take a few days this year to try it. Going to drag my boat down. Being a complete rookie for marsh/brackish water fishing, I don't have a clue where the better fishing is. I'll be in a 18' bass boat with a 150 on it. Would like to stay in calmer waters, not having to fight large vessel traffic, or pounding waves. You guys in the know have any recommendations on fish camp rentals that have waterfront access/docks, so I don't have to load/unload my boat every day? There will be 6-8 of us. Probably coming down in June. Would prefer not to break the bank on fru/fru lodges. Just a simple camp that is clean and very close to the fish will work fine. Internet search shows a lot of charters, but I don't need that.

Appreciate any input you will share. And if June is not a good time to fish, tell me when.
