I'm always driving when we go bowfishing, which I don't mind but when the two guys on the front deck miss I'm always sitting back at the helm like wtf I could blast that thing from here. A whole bow setup seems a bit much but I don't want to buy a crossbow. Anybody got any thoughts on what the driver should shoot? Or should I just get a cheap bow setup and make it work? |

I have a spear I keep in the boat. I also will have a bow knocked send laying on my rear deck. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk |

Pawn shop bow turned all the way down and a reel on it. You're in business. |

Those slingbows look cool but 200 bucks is a little steep. Of course that's about what I'd pay for another bow... I like the idea of a spear, what kinda spear do you use, did you make it from a fiberglass pole or something similar? |

Barnett H20 is pretty compact. I have one with an AMS retriever mounted to it that I shoot often. |

Get something with zero letoff. Letoff sucks donkey balls for bowfishing. If you want something cheap, get a genesis or an old recurve. |
