I have a few weeks left until my Uncle J and GT XD are completed. I have purchased most of the things I need like trolling motor. I have yet to purchase any electronics. Are there any particulars with mounting fish finders and GPS on aluminum hulls with SD motors? I will use the boat for fishing more than hunting. Any recommendations for electronics? |

Search. There was a thread not long ago. There were a few options for transducer mounting, and there are a bunch of threads from people long gone from mmt how they mounted different items Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk |

Could you use thru hull like we do with our kayaks? Guaranteed that it will not be drug off or damaged. I cut wax paper and wrapped square foam and built a containment "pond" for the epoxy I used. Mix it thin so it will flow in and around the transducer encapsulating completely. I am going to do the same thing under the floor between it and the hull. 1244 Atchafalaya Outdoor Designs W/ 12hp Copperhead |

I mounted mine with a adjustable /removable clamp on bracket from Sully. The head unit is on a ram mount. Everything can be removed or put back on in about 10 minutes. I can go out to the garage and snap some pics if ya want Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk |

If you are going to find yourself at Caddo lake in a couple weekends you'll see my setup. It's simple and works well. |

Not going to be able to make it this time around. I recently took a job with a logistics company and am working weekends. I hope to make some of the other runs and definitely want to do Caddo next year. |

Sorry for the delay but here's how I set mine up. Im happy with it. I could've ran the wiring to look pretty but my main concern was making it as easy as possible to remove for hunting and reinstall for fishing. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk |

I did this. With two RAM mounts it stays rigid so it reads depth even at 28mph. This way it's still easy to remove. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
