that aint the capt. charlie,they didnt have that many on the charlie. its legal,believe it or not.commercial ITQ'S.the vid only shows what was caught on one bite,prolly an hour and 45 min.,not the trip. last time i was off,at the beginning of march,we caught 19,350 pounds in 3.5 days of fishing.i know that this is hard to belieive since snapper are endangered with only a 2 fish rec.limit but its true.it just goes to show you what the a$$holes makin up laws really know. the damn snapper are soo thick,they gonna start killin'off other fish.seriously. i'm gonna keep doin my best to stop em'till the quota runs out,30,000 or so more pounds to go. |

oh yeah,uncle j,i could see the glow from the lights in fourchon where the fish in the vid.were caught. last trip we went farther west,to ship shoal,they were even thicker! next time i get off,prolly gonna check it out towards the river,go clean up west delta a bit. |
