Venice has lots but its not for the novice. If you can find someone familiar with the area that would be the way to go. Hopedale can get some but it may not be worth the drive. In my area Venice is the best.

it all depends on how the season shapes out.... plenty of local guides can put you one them if you don't mind spending a little.... and the guides will also tell you how things are going and they will tell you not to come if they can't promise you close to a limit.

Well we're just some college students so we're tryin to keep the price down so we can spend the rest of our money on books I talked to a buddy of mine from lake charles and he said either sabine or lacassine, but that sabine is easy to get turned around in so he suggested lacassine.

The biggest problem with Venice is the River, other than that it aint bad.

In light of the most recent oil spill Venice marshland and vegetation among other things could be highly affected. Might want to just wait and see what happens. I'm sure everybody is seeing what's taking place....but the latest is they don't know when/if they can stop the leak for weeks if not months.

Yeah hopefully the oil doesn't hurt us too much but you can always hunt the west side of venice so you don't have to cross the river

why would you not hunt Bayou Darbourne??? We use to shoot a lot of teal and then go to classes after.
