I just booked a cabin at Crips for next year! My boat will hands down be the fastest so I will run ahead and nose up on the bank and spray every mofo that has the balls to go past me! Might even pick up some catfish cheese just to throw into the prop wash just for giggles!

Very briefly in reply to Caddobrook's post:

1. Caddo Lake smells like roses compared to the marsh and Henderson Lake.

2. I did not pass anyone on a trail. CaddoZ was off the boat path in the weeds, out of the lane, struggling with the weeds he said. It appeared to me he'd moved over well off the path for us to continue forward. I'm curious what the boat behind me might have seen. I didn't blow by anyone because he might have been too slow in front of me. I never "passed" anyone.

3. This CB fellow has had the chaps for me and quite a few others, so he ain't as nice as you make him out to be.

4. I was trying to be confrontational?...give me a break. Did you not see the picture of the note that was taped to my door when I arrived?

The only reaction that was normal in this whole event was momma's. It didn't give a shit what happened, whether accident, her own husbands fault, or what ever, some body was gonna get chewed out by her because her babies got muddy and wet. As soon as I realized what they were talking about, I immediately told them I was very sorry, in a profuse way. Apparently, that was not enough. She was ready to jump in my boat.

5. My posting about the incident in this thread...I decided to confront the issue head on because I knew someone would bring it up. I said it nicely and informed everyone I had apologized. Even commented that they were nice people. But of course that was simply not enough.

Caddobrook, I know you meant well but you missed the mark.

You should have just left it alone dude. I assure you it would not have been brought up on here again. Nobody wanted to talk about it. It was over and done with.

All I can tell you Dean, is I didn't leave the note on your door. The thought did cross my mind to do something special to fuck with you while you were here, but you would have absolutely loved it that I took the time out of my day to make special plans for you. I made a few comments to try to discourage you from coming, but that was all the special treatment you received from me. I didn't try to spray you, I didn't do shit. I was not planning on getting in a fight with you and I figured the best way to keep that from happening was to do exactly what I did, which was ignore you the entire trip. I would have left your ass standing at the dock on Friday night too, but TJ is one nice fella.

I hadn't talked to you hardly at all in the last year. I ain't hiding behind a screen name. The name I go by in real life was posted on this forum many times, and I've shaken hands with everybody I could at every ride I've been to except for you. I also have a lot of folks stop by to meet me when they pass through town. You started calling me by something that people I've known for 20+ years didn't know which meant you were digging into me more than just about anyone I'd ever met anywhere, ever. That shit just don't sit right with me. I don't know what you were looking for, but I don't need people meddling in my personal life because they start shit on a forum and don't like it when people talk back. If you want to talk shit and start arguments, talk shit and argue, why is anyone's personal life relevant to the conversation?
