Food plans have changed a little. Still doing a $5 lunch. Will have hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips. Josh at Midnight Smokers' has donated his time to come out and cook for us. My Mom donated the food so all proceeds from lunch will go to the Caddo Lake Institute. For dinner we were planning on doing crawfish, but we were unable to get it and keep our goal of $10 a plate, so we had to switch gears last minute. Midnight Smokers' will be catering BBQ. Brisket, sausage, chicken, and I believe potato salad and beans. We do apologize to those that were looking forward to the crawfish boil, we just weren't able to make it happen this year. If anyone is willing to help out a little, we still need a few things. Disposable plates, napkins, and utensils I'll have catsup, mustard, relish, and mayo for lunch, if someone would be willing to donate some other condiments, that would be awesome. (lettuce, onions, tomato's, etc) I believe Josh is doing potato salad and beans with dinner, but if anyone would like to donate additional sides and/or something sweet, that would be great. I believe my mother in-law is going to donate some cookies and brownies, but I'm sure anything you want to bring will be gobbled up. If you are willing to help out, just post up on this thread what you can help with, so we don't end up with several folks bringing the same items. Thanks very much to everyone who has helped put this together, and a big thanks to Josh at Midnight Smokers' for stepping up at the last minute to help us out with lunch and dinner. |

So, zane and coe have plates, napkins, and utensils covered? Those are really the only necessities we don't have yet. Everything else would just be a bonus. |

I'm getting some condiment packages from costco that come with relish. If you'd pick up tomato's, onions, and lettuce, I'm sure the folks that like all that stuff on their burgers would appreciate it. Thanks chase! |
