I kinda threw this together to give folks a general idea where the ride will be in the AM. It isn't precise, but it gives a pretty good general idea. A lot of it is off of the boat roads. We did pretty good running through there WOT, only hit a couple of stumps, but running around 20 (which will be a likely cruise speed for the ride), I found quite a few more obstructions. I figured I'd go ahead and post a map so those that may wish to skirt around on the boat lanes will have an idea where people will be meeting up. You must have a google account to view it and I can't figure out how to just embed it and still allow folks to zoom in on it. AO8LONIUT0 The afternoon ride is just straight across the lake, open water the whole way so nobody should have any issues. We planned these routes with great efforts taken to interfere with other boat traffic or fishermen as little as humanly possible. There will be a bunch of us out there making a bunch of noise, so please do what you can to be courteous to other boaters and the locals. Please pick up a map of the lake somewhere and carry your gps with you if you want to go explore on your own. Staying out of the main river channels as much as possible will be much appreciated by everyone else enjoying their weekend at the lake. It's pretty easy to skirt around them if you take a look at a map. No wake when passing fisherman would be a good rule for this weekend as well. Yeah, they may be fishing in the river and any other day I'd say blow on by, but I would like to do everything we can to be unnoticed this weekend. Just staying off the beaten paths will more than likely minimize your chances of crossing paths with a bunch of other boaters and fishermen. |

 Hit the duck blinds out on the big lake. The only two people I know that do a bunch of crappie fishing stay pretty damn close to those duck blinds.

Oh, one other thing. Yall bring plenty of gas! We will be putting some hours on the boats on Saturday! There is a place 5 miles up the road that had premium last time I stopped there, and Johnson's is on the water, but I think they only have regular, and you are going to pay a lil extra for the convenience of filling up on the water. |

There is a launch there, but you do not have to launch there. There is several ramps all right there within a block of each other. |

Hell yeaa now it is 5.25 a gallon now but then right up the road right past the state park is fifes they have super as well an or if u go about a half mile past the turn to go to tge state park the run in is right there an they have super also |

I still ain't sure who this jmarsh fella is. is it the kid we rode around with the weekend we picked up your motor?What are we wrong about? If you have better info on the fuel situation, please feel free to share. Im bringing probably 30-40 gallons of fuel with me. Johnsons has gas on the water and the five mile store had premium last summer. what else you got?
