Since it appears all this nonsense is over, I'd like to take the time now to apologize to everyone who had to read all this shit. For those second guessing making an appearance next year, please don't. This is not how the ride went and def not what it was about. Everything that started this whole fiasco being talked about here lasted less than a minute on the lake and did not shadow over the event. It could have been left at the lake, but it was brought up and discussed unfortunately.

This was a great event, we had a great turn out, great food, great company, great sponsors, and some great people come out and talk to us about the status of the lake. This is a family oriented event and we encourage anyone that comes out next year to bring the family along. We did a really good thing here and we had a lot of locals come down and thank us for what we were doing instead of being aggravated with the noise. That was really nice. Had several folks tell us if we get in touch with them next year, they can help us generate a lot more funds for the donation too.

Thanks again to everyone, especially TJ. He put a lot of time into this thing. We worked really hard to make this thing go smoothly and I think overall it went pretty well. Look forward to helping out with this again next year!

This is a really fun event. The am ride is really cool, through all the cypress trees and shit. And the pm trip to onion island is just as much fun. Everyone gets to get outta the boat and swim. It's a good chance to wonder around and meet everyone. Made some good friends at onion island over the last few years.
