What all did everyone tear up this year??

I know we had a sunk boat (that ran later that day) two boats trying to screw each other in the middle of moon pond and plenty of other stuck folks (including myself)...

I managed to:
-break a tiller handle
-break a throttle cable
-smoke a fresh rebuild on a prop
-pretty sure I finished off a lower bearing and probably a seal too

I know there's gotta be more torn up stuff the morning after.

I went unscathed this year.

Made it back on four strands of the throttle cable.

Crack in clutch cover

Immediate effects of the sinking: Lost 1 boot, glasses, 80' 5/8" spectra towline, cell phone dead....


After effects of the sinking: Electrical system went completely haywire at the end of the day, Carb float valve fucked again, fuel tank pickup plugged up.

Man take a water hose to that thing today and get it all rinsed off. That salt water is no joke.

Also, something I've done on waterlogged equipment before, dump your fuel out. Get a big bottle of rubbing alcohol and pour it in the tank, shake it up really well and dump that. Refill it with fresh fuel. The alcohol will absorb the water and dry it out. 100% methanol works well too if you can get your hands on some. Great for cleaning fuel systems and carbs in general.

All I suffered was some nice scratches on the GG, A very muddy boat, and one hell of a sunburn on my face.

Throttle cable broke coming into the gsu pond (worse place it could happen ) where you go over the hump. . Broke at the Z crimp where attaches . 5 minute field fix and moving again. , I was sweating bullets I was going to get run over . Towards afternoon I kept having to pump the bulb , going to look into an electric pump. .all in all no other issues. .

Baffles or something broken in my stock exhaust. Other than that I'm all good

only Broken part is my heart i didn't accomplish what i had set out to do and that was greet everyone to the ride. For that i apologize......On another note fuck it i'll see ya'll next year

Lost bearing buddie on the trailer and burnt up some bearings. Other than that didn't break anything else

I didnt get to go out saturday cause my daughter had a tourny in houston. but sunday my buddya nd my little boy when out. I broke my throttle cable again. need to get a new one cause all i did was break where i rigged it. And i thing i smoked my rings. i say that because when i'm sitting still grinding in a hole my crank case vent is bellowing some white smoke out the filter. and that cant be right. what could it be?

bbarras...... get that muffler off and gutted and cleaned out, you dont want that shit falling back down into the engine.....

Thats a easy fix too.

I didn't think any old muffler shop would want to jack with it.

Id be willing to guy it for ya, I have a stainless heliarc welder and can make it look real nice. You pay me 50 and handle the shipping
