Anybody coming from south LA want to bring me a couple pounds of good boudin to caddo? I can pay you in cash or trade some Sacalait or catfish, whatever you prefer.

Billy's boudin or best stop, both are in Scott, LA.

Never had Billy's boudin but the boudin balls are the best!

Best stop boudin is some of the best I've had, their boudin balls are good but not as good as Billy's.

Since Pete says you can order it I'll just do that, I appreciate the offer but this way I won't have to worry about keeping it cool all weekend and the trip back.

Legnon's in New Iberia. They also have a killer crawfish boudin.

I think Jlacour hit the bullseye. Joel Dennison aka Dead animal took my brother and I to a couple places in New Iberia to get boudin. One place he took us was the best I have ever had. Can't remember the name however it was in New Iberia. Their specialty was crawfish boudin.
The first boudin I ever had from La was Best Stop. Long before MMT my family and I went to the Coonass Riviera for vacation. While there we became friends with some folks from Houma. He suggested a place for boudin off I 10. We drove to that place and ate our first boudin. We ate some in the store, in the truck and on the highway. Hell my kids even got their picture taken in front of the store.
Since then I have ate boudin from all over the state.
And all this is from a Hoosier.
