I have arranged with Bridge City Police Department to have someone at the hotel (La Quinta) both nights from basically dusk til dawn.

I also plan on getting with Port Arthur P.D. to get someone to watch our vehicles at Ancelet's from 10 AM until 10 PM on Saturday during the event.

They are there to watch the vehicles & our boats only in the parking lots.

Good deal , tell them we will feed them Saturday night at ancelots .

Make sure everything on vehicle and boat trailer are up to date and everything is in working order. BC is quick to write tickets on just about anything. Also DO NOT SPEED IN BC.

With the police watch at Ancelet 's Marina is that where most plan to launch ?

Correct on the zone .. It's a very long idle

Its also central to the two destinations(gsu and moon) Ill be staying a block from ancelets but I dont mind driving to the park, boat will be left and my parents anyway.

Ill proly launch at the park as well and just meet everyone at the first destination.

I know where moon pond is, but where is the GSU pond? I'm assuming to the west of the actual power plant?

GSU pond is taken from the back side of the ship turn around or if coming from moon pond you can cut across Bessie and find the same ditch .

Ok, got it. I haven't been back that far in that particular area. I use that ditch(further south) to cut across Bessie Heights to go fishing around the plant though. Didn't know it went that far back. I always turn as soon I reach that giant flat that is to the west of the GSU canal.

We will probably all launch at the park...
