Layers of clothes won't be a need with temps in the 70s

Re: Knock on wood, don't hold your breath
Most of us are duck hunters, sure as shit have appropriate rain gear.
Going to be a nice time!!!
I know Huck called me this morning and he is all pumped up. He has his half of the groceries done for Saturday, my slacking ass has to get it all together tonight!
I'll see the tailgaters about 3pm tomorrow!

Re: Knock on wood, don't hold your breath
My boat will stay on trailer if lightning is popping .. Water, metal and electricity running through the metal really don't mix too well with lightning My luck the 1/50ish. Ain't good enough odds for me

Re: Knock on wood, don't hold your breath
Im with Calphil you won't know how the weather really is to the day of down here. I've been look forward to going but now all my buddies are backing out due to weather. I'm sure I know some of the people on here but I don't want to be the lone duck out there. My wife said she's in rain or shine so hopefully I can make some new friends. I'm going to keep a close eye on it. Look forward to it.

Re: Knock on wood, don't hold your breath
We will make an official determination regarding the weather on Saturday morning.
We are not going to officially hold an event during any sort of electrical storm. We are also not going to prevent anyone from launching at a public launch & riding to have fun this Saturday.
Just know that if we do have to officially cancel the ride on Saturday due to weather that you can still launch and/or have fun. You are just doing so at your own risk.
I will be there Saturday morning at the launch under the big pavilion just next to the launch. I will have everyone's shirt there so you can claim it. They will be labeled with the name you used in your order. Stop by the pavilion for a free koozie.
Saturday night at Ancelet's we will draw the lucky name for the Yeti Hopper.

Re: Knock on wood, don't hold your breath
The Weather Channel: Saturday 80% rain and thunderstorms, wind S at 15-25 . All you can do is drink and have a party. There will be brave souls on the water, I'm sure. Don't let a little bad weather spoil the party.
For me, my friend's daughter couldn't have picked a better weekend to screw up my personal calendar.
