Hey guys we headed up there in the morning, and I was just wondering what the atmosphere is like out there, is it a big wild ass party like it seems, or just a few good ole boys drinking some brews together, just wondering so I can prepare.

I'm sure the deep water was ugly this morning. I know driving on I-10 in my bigass service truck wasn't any kinda fun. Wind was whippin from south to north pretty steady the whole way between Lafayette and Beaumont.

Well fellas. This year sucked all around for me... I'm boatless, had to work late Friday and got called out Saturday afternoon to work and actually am just getting home. Hope you guys had a good safe ride out there and the weather held off. I'll be out next year in my new rig.... I'm taking vacation for it dammit...

That sux bro. I had to work last minute too. After I did a lot of work to my boat to get it ready, was a huge let down. I'm with you for taking the vacation days.

We had a blast while we were there. The ride home is not going good at all. The belt broke in one of my tires in Sulfur. Limped to Wal-Mart and bought a new one. Get on the road again and had a blowout as soon I get into Hammond. Had the truck and boat towed to a tire shop and am now in a hotel room . This sucks.

That's bad luck man hope turns out better. After all talk last night about how crappy louisiana roads are I hit a pothole leaving setx before interstate and damn gtr motor trailering bracket snapped :lol: my only casualty on the weekend

That stretch of I-10 from about Hwy 62 on to Louisiana is terrible. There are some hole that I don't know how they don't claim the front end of a little car. They beat the piss out of my big truck going over them. As a rule, Louisiana roads are crap but there are plenty of places in Texas that would give the worst roads in Louisiana a run for their money :lol:
