Don't worry someone will have plenty of rope. Jus worry about the other boats when u do hit the mud u will not be able to control the boat as well

Start off in some shallow water, say 1-2". You won't get stuck (well you shouldn't), take some time to stop and start. Remember regardless of hull, you hit these flats and steering diminishes greatly. Your gonna go in the direction of the boats momentum.

If your available, you should try to come ride friday, be alot less people and you can get some experience before the actual ride.

Thanks for the info, wont be able to make it Fri leaving Conroe Sat morning and staying the night at LaQuinta then back to work Sun 4pm.I will stay away from the crowd till i get figured out being middle aged i dont bounce as well as i did before and heel a whole lot slower.Thanks.Another quick question about LaQuinta parking lot might have buddy bring airboat and give them my room and bring cabover camper for my truck and sleep in lot.Think that would cause any problems.

If you start to loose it, let off the gas and trim down. It takes some getting use to, and sometime you just cant control it. I just GG my boat, so even I am worried about how it is going to react on mud.

I ended up a boat length into the grass last year just trying to negotiate a left turn. Realized I was not gonna make it I straightened and enjoyed the ride in. Took two boats to pull me out.
