My GPS said I ran a total of 32 miles that day but I did take a small group on a ride after onion island.

How far was it to Jefferson (think that's the name) ? That was a pretty good trip. Was real fun tho.

Little over 20 miles. If there's gonna be a decent group there early Friday, we can probably make a run up there for lunch if everyone is down. I'll be out there the following week, but don't think I can make it out before Thurs night/Fri morning.

If yall make a run on that Friday to Jefferson stop at my place so I can follow yall up from there! I am bout 7 mi. from Jefferson.

And about the gas last summer was $5.25 gal. at Johnson Ranch, but in Marshall on Hwy 59 before you get to H&W Marine is Pete McCarty Oil Co. on the right they have non ethanol fuel, reg and premium, and you can fuel up even if store is closed!

I'm not sure. I know it was flared out at the top a lot wider than whatever the standard bottom would traditionally be flared to, but don't remember exactly what it was. Either way, you'll be fine. I know of at least one outboard rig that will likely scoot around some of the tighter spots. If you come, just holler at me and we'll look at a map and show you how to skirt around if you want to.

Don't forget by June the river and lake will be back to normal. And really on a lot of those marked boat road are easy to get through til that crappy giant salvania gets to taking over then its chopping weed time!!!!

My boat will be a 20/72" with duals . Just not sure it will be able to get down some of the narrow slews and trails yall go down. If I go I guess I'll go find out lol

i live on caddo and plan on bein there this year, just got my first mudboat and i destinctly remember fishin last year where i thought was a good secluded place when about 10 or 15 mudboats rode by and i was thinkin wtf is goin on. well this year im gonna try to be in one of this mudboats. And if yall need a place to stay, potters point marina and rv park isnt too far away from crips, and they would be glad to have yall

is there anyone that is really familiar with the lake that can describe the route to me? the only place on the lake im not familiar with is clinton/carters lake, but plan to explore that before the summer gets around

Just go ride man......if you get lost, keep ridin'...........eventually you'll see something familiar. Bring extra gas. I'm sure I'll be out there at least once or twice before the run. I'll try to remember to shoot you a pm before we go and I can show you around the north end.
