Yeah, in the swampy parts of the lake it is easy to get turneed around, esecially at night or if you get off of the boat road.

That's what makes it fun!

sure does. especially at 2 am with hardly any gass in the tank. bringing extra gas is never a bad idea

Im new here and just seeing this. I would like to make a few of these but this one falls on a family reunion weekend that the lil ladys family has every year at lake bruin but i would surely like to try to make this next year. You fellas be safe though and have a good time!

Any fish over there much to shoot? Thinking about throwing the light bar on the boat.

Man right now the lake is flooded. So if the water is still high a month from now, I would leave it at home because the water will be stained.

Lots of dink gar and shad. Like caddo said, lake is up and water will be stained. Fishing will likely be tough.

Bowfishing isn't that great out there. But you can throw a jig around some cypress trees and catch big bass all day.

I'll be heading over early Saturday morning. I doubt the boat last as long as the drive over

About that bow fishing, you gotta go upriver a few miles and find some flooded timber with a little grass and the carp are there, just take a gps so when you are looking down and get lost you have a pretty good chance of finding your way out before daylight! The beer can trails with turn you around every time!
