There are two thangs in life dat will make a fool out of you. A dog and an outboard motor.
And my pup sure embaresed me on our last hunt.

After such a bad season at my lease (skunked too many times to count), I finally got him on a hunt with birds fallin' from the sky and thought he was gonna explode. At five years old he decided whinning in the blind would be a good idea. I think I heard him say "give me the shotgun and I'll shoot em myself".

He spent the last two days of the season chasing half dead green heads through the buck brush and ice in North Mississippi. Did not loose one I sent him after during the hunt. Could not find a couple I waited until after to let him look for.

All in all, Sailor did a fine job for me this season. He has a much better average pickin them up then I do shootin em.

My dog chit a big ol turd!

this past saturday i was sitting in the blind while it was still dark and we could hear some ducks off on another pond. first light came and we started bustin ducks. we killed bird after bird sometimes having three birds shot in one group the whole time my three year old black female was solid and steady until i released her. she did great amd made some master level retrieves. we went back to the same spot sunday and the birds did not work like the day before but we managed to kill two, both singles and she broke on both of them. pot head.

On the last hunt of the season, T-nig bit me cause I missed

During our teal season we downed 3 teal out of a flock of 5 and my pup brought 3 went back out in to the millet after another retrieve. I keep yellin at er to get er ass back to the blind cuz there are more ducks circlein but shes runnin round like a damnd idiot. So then she comes up wit another teal and we all look at each other wondeing how we didnt see this other bird fall. Well we get home start cleaning bird and find out why we didnt see the duck fall. The breast meat was green and stunck worse than anything I have ever smelt had to be a week old cuz after closer inspection the damnd things eys were sunk in

my dog just ate all four of my wifes new still in the pot rose bushes.Did I come down hard on her,of course not.Thats just more chit I have to cut around with the lawn mower Funny how they know what to do to make you happy.

My little black bitch did great she got to pick up over 100 birds this year.
I ran everything as blinds she held good and ran the lines great, didn't cheat once. I have been training for field trials and I know it didn't hurt her at all. We have started training again and she is running blinds better than ever. She was always a good at marking. BOO! is her name and ducks is her game.

Homer passed the Master A at Rose Country this weekend and qualified for the Master National this year in Giddings, TX.

Pup chewed up the satelite remote last week, he was proud as hell.

Had a guy over last nite to bid the carpet job in my house. He's got one of them Southern Comfort edition Powerstroke F350 crew cab sittin on 22's and some Nitto Terra graplers. Nice rig to say the least. Soon as he steps out the truck to shake my hand, Triton hikes up the ole leg, and gives him a shot right on his dub-duece.
